fun, fun, fun.

makes me crackers, the inability to say what i feel.

my favorite haiku yet.

pecker is so good, though it would have been so much better sans christina ricci.

took a shot from a doctor-to-be. on camera. his lab partner stared, blinked, tried to look unimpressed.

oh jeez!

how will i keep at all up with you if i can't check your text? maybe not how you feel, but what you do, and (for those who know?) the feeling is...intuitable? come on, baby, give us form, the content takes care of itself...

you know, it's true. i dont really write what i feel much of the time, but you know me well enough. it's only that this joural has become complicated by a few orders of magnitude over the last month or so. don't worry. ill figure out a good solution.

i'd have to kick your ass if you dumped this journal.

especially if you were to delete before we were to ever hang out.

and, i know, i know... i'm supposed to arrange for that trip to boston.

but HEY, i'm probably going to cape cod for a week in july... that's pretty close, isn't it?

it is close! ill have to see if one of the truro parties is happening during your visit. that would be fabulous. otherwise, either you must come to boston or we'll have to figure something out.

whatever happens, my dear, you and i will keep in touch.

pecker could be much better if john waters' had left the direction in the hands of someone else. actually, that describes all of his movies for me. except hairspray, on which i can't opine since i ejected the video prematurely for fear that i would follow up on my drive to remove my eyeballs.

i trust that your persnicketyness is due to your recent illness. youre forgiven.

pecker was obvious and silly, but funny at the same time. i wouldnt say it was a great movie (and i definately dont understand people who are obsessed with waters), but at the same time, it is nice and entertaining.

hairspray had it's moments, but i agree, for the most part it was not his best thing.

speaking of indie movies from the last year or two, i still havent seen royal tanenbaums (sp?). have you seen it already? last i saw, it was still playing in davis square. been thinking about seeing it.

is that an invitation?

i saw it with my parents during my spring break. my dad hated it, which means i liked it--though i did not love it. it's too clean and the script is a bit awkward, but it definitely has its moments. hilarious moments, even.

it is an invitation actually. i had thought of going tonight, but my roommate is MCing at a show at tufts. you up for something like that? she's opening i think for tracy and the plastics.

Considering my taste for hal hartley movies, i dont mind a contrived script.

don't mention the double-h word in front of me, s'il vous plait.

at what time is this show at tufts you speak of? i am at school till 9 pm. i may be up for something if somehow you can get in touch with me at an adequate time, but considering i'm nowhere near my phone and i won't be anywhere near a computer once i get inside the classroom....

what???? you dont like HH? dude, the man's a genius.

Isabelle: Will you make love to me?
Thomas: When?
Isabelle: When you finish your bath.
Thomas: Why me?
Isabelle: Why not you?
Thomas: Well, you don't know me. You don't even know my name.
Isabelle: You don't know your name either.
Thomas: Have you ever had sex?
Isabelle: No.
Thomas: How can you be a nymphomaniac and never had sex?
Isabelle: I'm choosy.

genius.

glad i ran into you at the show last night, sorry i didnt get back to you earlier. ill give you a bell tonight (that is, if you can stand to hang with someone with such bad taste as me).

i think i'll keep my feelings on hack hardy to myself, for fear that you will hurt me.

I adore Rushmore and would love to see it; it was playing at the Kendall, still, as of last week, and I think the Arlington Capitol had it for a while.

Pecker ? I dunno, it was kind of obvious, and maybe not as much fun as I was expecting.

Do you ever go to River Gods ? I am (most likely) going to stop there tonight to pick up a new Wire magazine-related comp CD from Jon Whitney, who's DJing there tonight, designs on brainwashed.com, and lives in Arlington to boot.

Here's another vote for keeping your journal !

i think i can separate content from technique (or lack thereof) in waters. if that's not possible, then that's too bad. but i won't weep for my inability to half enjoy most of his stuff, save perhaps for serial mom.
